Great sound quality in both playback and recording! The card ran almost immediately under XP. Packaging should be maudio same as what is found in a retail store, unless the item is handmade or was packaged by the manufacturer in non-retail packaging, such as an unprinted box or plastic bag.
The price on this card is terrific.

I am impressed that a product 11 years old still works and has current drivers available. This is a very old sound card that I bought new a long time ago 10 years? Auduophile can not say which of the two is more transparent, amply satisfies me. M-Audio Audiophile reviews.
