Are you getting a single beep when you first power up your system? Sometimes you need to remove the cmos battery and clear the cmos for an extended period of time, possibly several hours or overnight. Any other suggestions for what to look at? All the hardware are newly purchased except for the mobo which i boufht ga-g31m–s2l yr ago but only recently used. Will do so Have you tried using the onboard graphics without installing your video card?

What is the refresh rate setting in windows? All i see is a blank screen even though my cpu and psu and hdd is running. I cant view anything on screen when it loads up, not even to the BIOS page. Are you using a video cable adapter for your cable and video card?

I am currently using a hp lcd monitor which works fine with my older system. I’ve tried two different monitors. My system runs as per normal but i am unable to view it on my lcd monitor. Ga-t31m-s2l never did a good Prime95 overnight run to check out that it was stable, oops. Don’t assume that any components are good. No monitor display at all.

Last time I unplugged my comp, opened it up, pushed on a few cards, put it back together, and it booted fine.
