My only issue that is on reboot, there is no wireless card detected and when I go into hardware drivers, it shows Broadcom STA is activated but not in use.
I’m suspecting a bug here. I would really rv6436nr the help to get things started. I fixed the grub menu. Nothing wrong with my analogy. It is confusing and frustrating, on that level. Even though I did blacklist the ssb dv6436nf, it did come back again when the b44 module loaded. There are only two things not working, as far as I can tell, dc6436nr, although they seem to be common problems, I can’t seem to locate solutions that are known to work with my particular hardware.
For a variety of reasons I don’t want to go into for the sake of my pride ;I ended up reinstalling Hardy. Make sure you boot into it.
BTW I am a supernewb with Linux, so go easy on me please.
