Has anybody else tried that, and is it working well for you?
I’m not sure this is a asus problem. These adapters cannot be updated using automated or manual methods.

Will update again when it’s online. I just a new computer from a local shop and I’m running into this problem. I have tried reseating all hardware brand new setup and also tried running with the bare minimum problem still happens.
I’ll see if I can figure out what file needs to be “modded” in order to use the “newest” drivers unless someone can find the eariler post on this subject. I can’t even do that with the non-Z CHvF – just tells me wrong OS no matter which setup serevr I run from the disk Some don’t work at all and some tell me the same as the new drivers do, no Intel adapters found hmm, maybe i have a different version of drivers on my disk.
Such is the life on the bleeding edge. I’m also having these problems on the Crosshair V Formula, Windows 8. The device drivers for your particular device.
I have changed to “fool” the install to look in the windows 8 folder for the q drivers didn’t work. When my NIC hangs it reboots the entire computer.
Typical ASUS customer service, this is not my first experience with their monkeys, I decided years ago that the ASUS products I own atm will be the last, I suggest others follow suit and find a company that takes care of their customers – ASUS have obviously forgotten that it is only us that keeps them in business Asus doesn’t make drivers for Intel hardware. First, enable test mode and disable driver signing in order to install these hacked drivers.

D I’ll upload the version for you. I also updated all of the drivers, plus I updated the utilites to the most recent versions: I just wanted to thank you for this info.
I got sick of it not working earlier and deleted everything I’d changed, don’t fancy starting from scratch again. Those drivers worked a treat for me too, thanks – even though they are a couple years old, I doubt that much will have changed in them, network speed and performance is fine.
